A LETTER FROM THE JOURNAL NEWS:

Clarkstown Summer Theatre rocks the house

The opening night performance of "All Shook Up" on Aug. 7 was amazing, superb, entertaining and flawless! In these times of hardship for many, it brought smiles, laughter and joy too see the high schoolers on stage and the audience having the time of their lives. The students devote 20 hours a week for six weeks, rehearsing and forming endless friendships with each other. As a board member and a parent of a student in the program for the last three years, and personally being affected by the economy, I want to thank Joe Egan and the whole Clarkstown Summer Theatre professional staff for allowing me to laugh, cry and see the shining light in this world that we live in as I watched one of the best and most enjoyable performances of a show well done.
